Remember not to overdo your makeup for photographs and video. Although
you do need to wear a little more than usual, the key to a natural look is applying layers of the same color to add depth and definition to the
eyes.

Keep everything matte. Matte shades absorb rather than reflect
light and help minimize shine as well as unflattering little lines and imperfections.
|
|
|
Blending is especially important because any lines
will be more visible in a photograph.
|
|
|
Apply plenty of powder since flash photography can also make you
look shiny. Have a powder compact handy for quick touch-ups.
|
|
|
Concealer should not be too white or light since it will wash
your face out, especially when wearing a white dress.
|
|
|
Eyelashes, bring them out with an extra coat of mascara, making sure
that every lash is separated, make sure you use water-proof mascara.
|
|
|
Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara to make lashes look longer
and eyes look bigger.
|
|
|
If you are wearing glasses, get glare proof lenses.
|
|
|
Lips also tend to fade away in photography. Use a lipstick in a
shade or two darker than you would ordinarily wear.
