The Date
Marriages may take place on any day except Christmas day and Good Friday. Most people tend to get married during the summer.
Day Of Week
Weddings are generally not allowed in church's on a Sunday, and register offices are closed on a Sunday. This makes Saturday the most popular day of the week to get married, as it is usually the most convenient day of the week for everyone.
Time Of Day
Marriages must take place between 8am and 6pm.
Honeymoon
If you are planning the travel far for your honeymoon, you should take into account the weather at your chosen destination at the time you intend to get married. The worst thing that can happen is that you arrive at your dream location during their rainy season.
What Season Do you want the Wedding
When do you want your wedding. Do you have your heart set on a spring, summer, autumn or winter wedding.

How Long do you need to Plan

This is important, if you are planning a big elaborate wedding you will probably need at least six months to plan. If you are having a small wedding you may not as much time.
Money
Do you have all the money you need already saved up.
Wedding Party
Availability of the people you want in the wedding party.
Church/Register Office
Availability of the the church or register you want to get married in.
